What Can I Do For Self Improvement?

 Self Improvement Ideas :

Hello friends !!!!  I think many of us feel lazy, feeling alone and don't want to do anything sometimes. So in such a  time we can do many things to improve ourselves. There are a lot of things that we can do to get self motivated. Self motivation means increasing knowledge, decision making, overcoming weakness and increasing strengths and confidence. Self improvement means learning constantly. Continuous learning is good for our mental growth and increases productivity. Here are some ideas that I share with you to improve ourselves.

Reading Books :

Books are always good friends of ours. Reading is a very good habit, you should read a book daily. When you are reading you feed your brain with knowledge. Read biography of great persons, motivational stories and  novels, good articles, etc. You can learn many things by reading the biography of great persons and inherit some good qualities from them which helps to improve yourself. Motivational stories motivate you and give positivity. Most Indian authors write very good fiction and non fiction novels. Many of you may read novels by good authors who inspired you or impressed you. I usually read novels by authors Amish, Durjoy Dutta, Preeti Shenoy, Chetan Bhagat, Amrit Singh, etc who inspired me and my best friends in my free time. Books improve thinking ability and increase vocabulary also. When you are reading a book you feel less stressed and it strengthens your brain. You can also read books about health and fitness.

Yoga and Meditation :

 

As we all know that yoga is very good for physical and mental health. Meditation gives you mental peace and positivity. In Yoga there are “asanas” which stretch your body and make it flexible. Early morning yoga keeps you energetic and refreshed for all the day. Yoga and meditation improves immunity. Meditation increases focus and concentration. Yoga also helps to manage anxiety and depression. Yoga and meditation makes you loving and kind.

  Hobbies :

  Hobbies make you happy and smart. Hobbies help develop taste and passion. New hobbies make you creative and productive. So always go for new hobbies, it keeps you busy. Hobbies like cooking, dancing, painting, writing, gardening, swimming, DIY, etc increased your productivity. Hobbies also make you skillful. So pick up your hobby and go for it.


Daily Timetable :

Successful people always followed a daily routine timetable. People scheduled their routine in a time table. Make your timetable and follow it. You can write a to do list or task  in timetable.To do a task makes you stay focused. Wake up early, if you wake up early it makes you happy all day. It improves your productivity and quality for life. Daily timetables increase your productivity. In This table you can write reading books time, exercise time, meditation time, etc.

 Avoid Negative People :

Negative people always create a negative impact in your life. Where you go you will be surrounded by both types of people positive and negative and it's true. Spent very less time with people who drag you down. If you really think that some people do not support you, ignore them. Avoid people who give you stress. Avoid people who are dishonest. Avoid people who are always gossiping and that are not fruitful.


Follow Inspiring People :


Many people take inspiration from successful people. These great or successful people are idols for them. Make your idol whoever you like or love it may be a social reformer, historian, scientist, sportsperson, poet, writer, etc. Our inspiration is our parents also. Read the biography of these people. Nowadays social media is very active so you can see videos of your idol personality. Read good articles about them. You can stick a photo of them in your room to stay motivated.


Quit Bad Habit :



Bad habits always make us lazy and less productive. Bad habits like sleeping for a long time, sleeping late, watching tv, watching mobile, etc make you unhealthy and lazy. For a first time it is very difficult to overcome bad habits but when you are going to try, gradually you will succeed. So overcome these bad habits by maintaining a daily routine time table.


Maintain Daily Diary :

Write  feelings and emotions in this diary. Write poetry or quote on feelings. Write a todo list also. Write inspirational quotes. Write your ambition, goals and dreams in it. Write a letter to your self future, what you want to see yourself after 2 years. You can mark the date on the calendar, work on it and see what you will be after 2 years.
